I Adapt Bólið, Mosfellsbæ - 12/10/2001
12/10/2001
Whoah, this was such a brilliant gig, punk as fuck! No fuckin’ PA system, no fucking bullshit! Just us and Fake Disorder rocking it out in true punk rock/hardcore fashion! Organized by our good friend/ex-drummer/minus drummer Bjössi. This gig was in a small youth centre and of course without alcohol and all ages as we love. Birkir was supposed to be working that night so he just took an hour off and hurried to the venue where we were already plugged in and playing silly ass songs. We played for about 45 minutes wich is the longest we have played but man did we have fun! Nobody in the band stopped moving even for a second and the energy was the highest I’ve ever seen in this band since day one. Bjössi played one of our oldest songs with us again with great applause by everyone attending. We also played a new song, a personal favorite since it has very political lyrics (you know me, always the militant) and a very good mixture of all good things about hardcore, musically. Probably my all time favorite I Adapt show so all you people who missed out, HAHA!!! Fake Disorder were without a singer so they were just jamming for their half hour but still inspired me (the wonderful feeling of youthful recklessness, eh!)
