I Adapt MH
28/08/2001
Our first gig in a long time. Some band members had been travelling abroad, going to shows etc. so we were very enthusiastic about doing a good show. We were even so enthusiastic that we warmed up before playing, just like athletes do! The show was good, not as good as I (Villi) expected but that was mainly due to not being able to keep properly in tune. It was fun as hell though, with a large pit of great people and a good performance by us, entusiastic as we were. We didn’t stop moving the whole time! We played a new song and it seemed to go down well. It is called “…wanted to say so much more” and is the most melodic one we have ever written, kinda reminds me of a hardcore version of Blink-182 (hehehe)! I am always so impressed by the response we get from the audience, we must be doing something right . We also played a new cover this time around, Strife’s “blistered”. It created havoc on the dancefloor and on the stage and has been a regular with us sinceJ The rest of the bands delivered good sets as well, Graveslime were good, SnaFu never disappoint and neither do Klink but the surprise of the night (for me) were Dogdaze! A really good skate-punk band that really surprised me, playing NOFX and Pennywise songs. All in all a very good gig and I hope this venue will keep up the good work.
