I Adapt Ingólfstorgi 30. Júní GEGN OFBELDI
30/06/2001
Our first gig in a while that was all ages and that pleased us very much. This was a special gig as well, loads of bands of many different styles and outdoors as well. This was also part of a whole day of events that the Icelandic Red Cross had organized with the topic “Against Violence”, a cause we all agree with very much and a much needed effort. It was a beautiful day as well, sun was shining and the temperatures high (considering we live in Iceland). We were the one of the last bands to go onstage after having witnessed stunning performances by Snafu and many others. There was only one problem, we were one guitar player short! Unfortunately Axel couldn’t play with us that day so we were a four piece for the first time. Of course the energy was high and the show intense, the way we like it. There was a small but enthusiastic pit in front of the steps-turned stage. We even managed to really piss the sound guy off by our frantic onstage behaviour what with all the jumps on running around and general goofing that people have begun to expect from us. All in all a very good and ultra- positive show.
