Our record is finally out 06/09/2007
I can hardly believe it but after all this time, all the work, waiting and bad luck, Chainlike Burden is finally out.
I can't wait to finish this era of the band, push the record to potential listeners, tour on it, play some local shows and then get back to the drawing board.
I hope you can help us finish this chapter of the I Adapt history in style. Hope we'll see each other at the shows, participating for those moments.

Things are cooking. BAnd is crawling back together after the US tour and final exams in school and what not.
Not much else going on. We're writing new stuff for a new 7inch release.
New song has not been solidified but Addi pulled a beauty out of his ass. Imagine Katatonia meets our old song I wish, using the same speed....
I'm feelin' it, hope the rest of the gang will too.

no seriously, just been to busy getting from here to there and fitting somesleep in there, to spend time on the internet.
pittsburgh was super friendly and inviting.great venue, great crowd. to many namesto namedrop and remember but we love you guys. thanks Mike.
It was mint to finally hook upwith the Modern Life Is War dudes.They played three new songs and people,I tell you,their new record will be so importand and good.It will move you just like MLIW did but some moments of it wil hit harder than MLIW ever has.
Rochester New York. That show was so well put on. Achillis is the most pro band we'veplayedwith yet. Modern Life Is war killed it.Played yet another new song and that ment we'd heard 4 new songs. Deff gonna be the best album.
John took us to a hot dog placeand weordered and thepeoplewould call our namesso we could approach our food. Elli told them his namewas Scottie Jones. That was funny.I said I was Vinnie Stigma.They screamed "Stigma!". Alot of hardcore people turned their heads hahaha.
John was so together and his house, dog, wife... everything so solid.Oh man.
Lemoyne, the youngblodd anneversary. Best moment was the freakin Striking Distance reunion. People were getting killed.I wanted to celebrate with my own type of wardance but I didnt have the fucking guts! it was out of control.
But Rise And Fall were deff the best band there that night.
Billions of people and the whole day ran smooth and there was no trash around.Icelanders suck in that department.
Our showwent down well, alot of people checked us out but I was in pain because of all my injuries.
Baltimore. Back to Mitch!! yeah.... He took me to the Hospital and it seems Im getting better. Implaying it a bit smarter so my "performance" at the Art Space was pretty chill. We got a really good reaction and a lot ofpeople bought stuff. Pulling Teeth just fucking destroys...so loud...such a fun band and they were up beat although they have ugly ass music.
Figthing Dogs were the suprise of t he tour.We all love themnow. Hardcore for adults I'd say. Ruiner got a huge response and I love their new material. Hope they will make it over to Iceland atsomepoint.Modern Life I War set was epic. They played yet onother new song so we've heard 5 new s ongs now!
after the show we,ruiner and MLIW all went to a resturant cause this was our last day together and we wanted to make it nice instead of crying in the rain and eat anti depressant pills,... no i'm just kidding. after that we went to a bar that had few people in it. had a copupple of beers,played pool and then we had to finally say good by to our friends in mliw. this 4 days run with them was great and we understand and get along.
we wish them all the best recording the new record in baltimore with J. Robbins.
Gonna miss those guys.

Pittsburgh part 1 30/03/2007
Let´s put it this way, Pittsburgh has houses and ReykjavÃk has houses but that's where the similiarity ends.
Mike Tortu put on the show and treated us like kinds. The Roboto venue space is incredible. Made me dream about a similar thing in Iceland.
Prior to the show we got to hang out in the sun a bit and it was mint.
We played with Blood Wessel Transfusion, Static Transistor and Modern Life Is War.
Crowd was very inviting and cosy. No emotional outburst there, just a chill and welcoming time.
Static Transistor helped us out so much with the gear. Can't thank them enough. Extremely good people.
We had a good set. Quite alot of interaction with the Pittsburgh crowd. These people bought alot of merch and music. Helping us alot with money issues.
Re-uniting with our buds in Modern Life Is War was a pleasure. They played a good set the highlights being the three new tracks! Shit let me tell you, this new record will be of monumental importance! I got goosbumps. Just when you thought one of the greatest bands couldn't get any better....
After the show ww went out with the Modern Life Is Adapt bunch.

Baltimore, and the suns up! 29/03/2007
Hey everybody.
We arrived in Baltimore last night, greeted by our driver/level headextraordinare Karl and the ball of jewish energy,Mitch!
First up was getting settled in Mitch house where he and his friends let us stay and then go out and grab some food. We were jet lagged I I myself hardly slept at all the night prior to the flight as I was still orginizing and booking the tour when most of Reykjav'ik was fast asleep. Typical.
Today the sun is shining, birds are singing and everything is perfect. The gang went out to buy crucial things, pick up Ingis new guitar and the tour merch.
Im left in the house networking and geting info together for the tour hahaha. Shit.

Tonight we're playing with our buddies Modern Life Is War. Can't wait to see themagain. Best band. The other band I didn't know prior to the tour but myspacing them and having a listen, these bands fucking rule! Find their name on our myspace and listen to them!
I gotta take a shower my hair is all gresed up and the dandruff is looking to get all cosy and shit.

Heyriði, þetta tópkst framar vonum! Við þökum ykkur kærlega fyrir að mæta svona mörg með þennan skamma fyrirvara. Mér tókst ekkert að auglýsa á myspace þar sem myspace hgefur ekki virkað hjá mér dögum saman, og svo gafst mér ekki olnbogarými til að hengja upp auglýsingar, blöðin netnu ekki að plögga þetta etc. Þannig að I AdaPT eru ykkur afar þakklátir. Líka fyrir að kaupa bolina og plötur.
Celestine eru að gera svo fokkings góða hluti að það er vandræðalegt. Líka vandræðalegt að mæta með ónýta gítarsnúru og vera í tæknives hahahaha. Svona er þetta. Frábært þegar Agli tók lagið með þeim.
Innvortis voru svo fokkings glataðir að það var hrikalega notalegt. Það kom svona sólheimkafílingur, öllu þykir svo vænt um Innvortis að þetta varð bara samt...gott... þannig séð. Heljarinnar gaman.
I Adapt spilaða lengsta sett sem við höfum spilað. Ég man ekki hvaða lög það voru en Lára stal settlistanum,. væri töff að pósta honum hér. *hint* Það er ekki okkar venja að spila svona lengi en við vorum búnir að lofa spes tónleikum þannig að við smelltum inn í þetta lög sem ekki höfðu heyrst í einhver ár. Það var líka afar ánægjulegt að fá Teit til að syngja loksins með okkur Empty Words No Compassion. Það hefur aldrei gerst áður og ég bara roðnaði. Kallinn er intense þó hann sé í stelpujakka!
Það hlýjaði okkur um hjartaræturnar að sjá fólk syngja með og gera sína hluti við öll helvítis lögin. Það var crazy. Gaman þegar taumurinn er gefin upp á bátinn og engin er cool. Elska það. Dive upp um alla veggi. Mér fannst ég upplifa eitthvað sérstakt þetta kvöld, það var fílingur á milli fólks, óska þess að einhver hefði náð þessu almennilega á myndavél eða tekið upp myndband. En svona er þetta. Selaví.
Gríðarlega þakkir fá Hljómalind til að umbera svona madness og tapa peningum á leiðinni.
Vinir okkar í Innvortis og Celestine fá innilegar þakkir einnig fyrir að gefa okkur allan peningin sem safnaðist.
Óli wonder og Sindri fyrir að redda hinu og þessu drasli. Gott ef Viktor Tímavél lánaði ekki píví.... man það ekki. Takk samt! Friða og Axel fá spikfeitar þakkir fyrir að rukka inn. Gyða fær knús og sXe fyrir að skutla okkur með sjitt. Kyss Ægir fyrir að taka myndir og lána box. Eygló og Kolli klíon fyrir hátalarann.
Þessir tónleikar fara í bókina sem einir af þeim góðu-góðu.
